Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1, 1995, at Berkeley California) is an actor. She is an actress from America that has appeared on screen in Choices (2010) and The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes actors and directors, also pursued these careers. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her first film role. Following that the film, she portrayed Nanni Moritti's daughter as a child in Red Wood Pigeon. Her career took off when she landed the role of Nanni's girl in Close Friends. The film was given a warm response during the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi is one of Argento's favorites actresses and performed the part of an anorexic child searching for their murderer. Asia's intense, absorbed acting style was put to good use in the film Condannato a nozze. She co-starred with Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di the view as Arianna an actress who is physically disabled. The complex and demanding part earned her an award: a David di Donatello award for Best Actress. In 1995, she worked together with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration was rewarded with a David di Donatello award and the Grolla d'oro. The first short film Asia made was an episode of the De Generazione movie. Two years later, Asia became a director and completed two other films. The first, AbelAsia was a homage for her father. Asia started directing her first feature film in 1999, Scarlet Diva. For this film, she was the lead actress and also directed the script. The film debuted in May 2000 across Italy as well as the rest of the world. It won a special award at Brooklyn's Williamsburg film festival.
